Master LƯƠNG MINH ÐÁNG, also known as Master Dang, was the visionary founder of the Human and Universal Energy (HUE) method and the philosophy of Mankind Enlightenment Love (MEL). Born on January 30, 1942, in My Tho, a town in southern Vietnam, he was the second of six children in a family beset by poverty. His father’s untimely death when he was merely eight years old marked the beginning of a life characterized by hardship and resilience.
In 1985, Master Dang emigrated to the United States, where he fully dedicated himself to the practice and instruction of Human and Universal Energy Healing. By 1989, he had conducted his first seminar on this method, and the extraordinary results achieved through the HUE approach quickly attracted international attention. His seminars, which attracted thousands of students—often numbering over 7,000 attendees—were held across five continents. The teachings were translated into 14 languages, enabling Master Dang’s message to reach a global audience. His travels took him to a multitude of countries, including Thailand, Belgium, France, Italy, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Canada, and the United States.
In 2000, Master Dang expanded his mission to Australia, where he established the Latent Abilities Institute and the Universal Energy Healing Centre in Melbourne, Victoria. His innovative use of video phone systems via satellite allowed him to conduct seminars remotely, significantly reducing the need for travel and enabling him to teach advanced levels to students worldwide.
An important moment in his career came in July 2002, during the World Congress on the Integration of All Medicines in Gold Coast, Australia. Master Dang provided healing services to Lord Pandit Professor Dr. Sir Anton Jayasuriya, whose remarkable recovery led to the establishment of a Human and Universal Energy Healing Faculty at the Open International University for Complementary Medicines in Colombo, Sri Lanka. The inauguration of this faculty in November 2002, attended by Master Dang and a delegation of over 300 advanced practitioners, marked a milestone in the global expansion of the HUE method. The faculty attracted a diverse range of participants, including doctors, nurses, government ministers, and ordinary citizens, all eager to learn about the transformative power of energy healing.
Master Dang’s curriculum, initially structured into eight levels, expanded over time to incorporate more advanced stages of learning. By 1999, he had introduced five additional levels, and in 2002, Levels 11 and 12—Special Development of Latent Abilities—were introduced. By 2003, Level 13 (Level III of Special Development of Latent Abilities) was offered to nearly 2,500 students from around the world. By 2007, his teachings had reached their pinnacle with the introduction of Level 20, the highest level of mastery in Human and Universal Energy Healing.
On August 12, 2007, Master Dang transitioned to a state of eternal stillness in Melbourne, leaving behind his physical form. Yet, his spiritual presence continues to guide and inspire his followers. Master Dang was not only renowned for his extraordinary healing abilities but also for his unique capacity to empower others to develop similar skills. His talents, often regarded as divine gifts, were the result of his unwavering commitment to his practice, and they transcended what might be considered achievable through training alone.
Despite his remarkable abilities, Master Dang lived a life marked by profound humility. Born in a war-torn country and raised in challenging circumstances, his life story exemplified how an ordinary individual, driven by a deep love for humanity, could achieve extraordinary feats through dedication and spiritual practice. His teachings continue to resonate with millions of students worldwide, who carry forward his legacy by conducting seminars and assisting others in mastering the HUE method.

In the late 1990s, when students inquired about the origins of his healing skills, Master Dang shared that he was a third-generation disciple of Venerable Doctor Dasira Narada (1848–1924). However, in 2000, during discussions with students who helped organize his seminars, Master Dang expressed profound respect for Venerable Dasira Narada, particularly for the vows and commitments he upheld throughout his life.
The principles and practices of Master Dang's Human & Universal Energy Healing are closely aligned with those of Venerable Dasira Narada's meditation and healing methods. Master Dang often regarded himself as a spiritual descendant of the venerable monk.
Master Dang’s unique karma enabled him to begin meditating at a young age.
